Unable to apply HoloPlay settings and Not working interaction using HoloPlay SDK 0.42


I have trying to setup my first project as intractable.
I have trying to implement the steps give in the tutorial.
Currently HoloPlay SDK 0.42 is available. With is sdk i’m getting below errors when applying HoloPlay settings.

Assertion failed: unsupported platform: couldn’t get group name for target %i
UnityEditor.PlayerSettings:SetUseDefaultGraphicsAPIs(BuildTarget, Boolean)
HoloPlaySettingsPrompt:OnGUI() (at Assets/HoloPlaySDK/internal/Editor/HoloPlaySettingsPrompt.cs:141)
UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent(Int32, IntPtr)


Hi @godbrother, it seems you’ve downloaded our SDK for the HoloPlayer One, which is different from our SDK for the Looking Glass.

That is you have explained how to implement interaction. In that tutorial you have given a link to download HoloPlay SDK(Current version 0.42). That one is not working.

I have Standard Looking Glass.
Please tell me how to implement (using LeapMotion control) hand interaction. I need some example unity project code.

Hi @godbrother, the tutorial you’re looking at, including the way it approaches interaction, does not work on the Looking Glass. They are two separate systems and so they have different SDKs and interaction frameworks. To add interaction using Leap Motion to the Looking Glass, see their documentation. You can also find several tutorials online, and here is Leap Motion’s own guide to Unity-based interaction. Just make sure you set up your interaction schema for a desktop setup and not VR!

We’re hoping to get our own Looking Glass specific Leap Motion tutorial online eventually, but for now these are your best resources. Let me know if I can do anything else to help!
