Pretty blown away by how well this films on 2D video.
I keep wondering about what could be achieved if it could be calibrated with a lenticular over the source display.
I’m left feeling this particular configuration is probably a dead end because of the limitation of the vertical view.
I wonder what would happen if the reflector is not conical but cylindrical, and the source display is conical instead. Would the vertical viewing distortion be solved this way? Hard to say without experiments!
